Cambridge Firefighters
Relief Association
167 LEXINGTON AVENUE CAMBRIDGE, MASSACHUSETTS 02138 A Message from our President Hello City of Cambridge Residents and Business Owners, I would like to take a brief moment of your time to provide you with some information about who we are and what we do. The purpose of the CFRA is to assist our membership in support and/or financial need. We are also here to assist the families of deceased members, any sick or disabled members, and retired members who might need some help adjusting to the change. This association was organized by the enactment of the Massachusetts General Court in 1892. It is still helping members in need today, as it has for over the past hundred years. Our association has over two hundred and seventy five members. Our Executive Office consists of a President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Director at Large, a Director for each of the fire department’s fourteen fire companies, and one Director for the staff members. All of whom, tirelessly devote their time and effort to ensure that all members and families will receive the best in times of need. To accomplish our mission, we rely on fundraising through generous donations from you. To assist us in achieving this, we contract with a professional fundraising organization that may on occasion call upon you to give what you can to support our efforts. If at any time you question the legitimacy of the solicitor but would still like to donate to our cause, please mail your donation to the address above. CLICK HERE to email us any questions or concerns about our organization or our fundraising efforts. In closing, I wish to take this opportunity to personally thank you on behalf of our members for your continuing generous support. Your support has helped out many of our members in the past and is greatly appreciated for us to help our members in the future. Sincerely, Mark Massiah PRESIDENT CFRA
